My name is Linette Taylor, and in a couple weeks, I'll be a graduate of Shenandoah University with my Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy, concentrating in Contemporary Commercial Music. Previously, I received my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Houghton University. I’ve been teaching voice for about eight years, but I’ve been making music my whole life. I’ve been known to sing everything from punk rock to Puccini, and I feel most at home singing from behind a piano or guitar.
I believe music is a powerful tool for self-expression, interpersonal connection, and emotional healing. In my teaching, singing, and songwriting, it's my goal to use music to help people find a sense of peace and understanding that they might not find elsewhere.
Outside of music, I am fond of outer space, ramen, and my cat, Willow.
